Deze foto is genomen tijdens mijn fotoreis in Alaska in 2023, meer specifiek in Brooks Falls in Katmai. Het unieke aan deze foto is dat het dier erg gefocust en stil blijft staren naar het stromende water, wachtend tot omhoog springende zalm zijn weg stroomopwaarts verder zet. 'Hierdoor heb ik het water 'melkachtig' in beeld kunnen brengen, waardoor de schoonheid van dit prachtig dier nog meer naar voren komt.

This photo was taken during my photo trip in Alaska in 2023, more specifically at Brooks Falls in Katmai. What is unique about this photo is that the animal remains very focused and stares silently at the flowing water, waiting for upward jumping salmon to continue their way upstream. ‘This allowed me to capture the water “milky” in the image, further highlighting the beauty of this magnificent animal.
